Track internal notes and view the complete booking history
Admin Notes
Add internal notes to any booking for team communication. Notes are visible only to admin users — customers cannot see them.
To add a note, open a booking detail page and scroll to the Notes section. Click Add Note, type your message, and save.
Notes display in chronological order with the author name and timestamp.
Activity Log
The activity log provides a complete audit trail of every change made to a booking. It tracks:

| created | Booking was created |
| status_changed | Booking status was updated (shows old → new) |
| payment_updated | Payment status was changed |
| vehicle_changed | Vehicle was swapped |
| details_updated | Rental details were modified (dates, times, customer info) |
| line_items_updated | Pricing line items were added, removed, or changed |
| inspection_finalized | An inspection report was finalized |
| admin_note | An admin note was added |
| customer_message | Customer sent a message via the Manage Booking page |
Each entry shows:
- What changed
- Who made the change
- When the change was made
The activity log is read-only and cannot be edited or deleted.
Tags
Tags let you label bookings for quick organization. Common uses:
- "VIP" — High-priority customers
- "Repeat" — Returning customers
- "Airport" — Airport-related bookings
- Custom tags for your workflow
Add or remove tags from the booking detail header.
