Booking List
View, filter, and manage all customer bookings
The Bookings page shows all bookings for your business. Go to Bookings in the sidebar to access it.
List Columns

| Dates | Pickup and dropoff dates with rental day count |

| Booked | Date the booking was created (visible on extra-large screens) |
| Total | Booking total in your currency |

| Status | Booking status with action dropdown |
Click any column header (Reference, Customer, Dates, Booked, Total, Payment, Status) to sort by that column. Click again to reverse the direction. Each preset has its own sensible default sort — for example, Upcoming, Today, and Active sort by pickup date ascending, while Needs Action, Completed, and All sort by booking creation date descending.

Status Filters
Filter by individual booking status:
- Request Received
- Pending Payment

Search
Search bookings by reference number, customer email, or customer name. Search is case-insensitive.
Booking Status Workflow
Request Received → Confirmed → Picked Up → Returned
→ Pending Payment → Confirmed → ...

Bulk Actions
Select multiple bookings using the checkboxes and apply bulk actions:
- Change status
- Export to CSV
- Delete (moves selected bookings to the Deleted tab — recoverable)
Deleted Tab
Bookings deleted from the list are moved to the Deleted tab — they are not removed from the database. From the Deleted tab you can:
- Restore — move bookings back to active. Restored bookings keep their original status; their availability blocks are recreated so the calendar reflects them again.
- Delete permanently — irreversibly remove the bookings and all associated data (items, logs, tags, inspections, availability blocks). Only soft-deleted bookings can be permanently deleted.
Soft-deleted bookings:
- Do not appear in any other tab (including All), reports, or the calendar.
- Do not count toward availability — their dates become bookable again immediately on delete.
- Do not trigger reminder emails (payment, pickup) or expire-pending automation.
- Are skipped by Stripe webhook processing (any payment captured after delete is not auto-applied — restore the booking first if you need to apply it).
The booking detail page is still viewable for a soft-deleted booking (linked from the Deleted tab) and shows a banner with restore/permanent-delete actions.
