Quick Start

Set up your first vehicle and take a test booking in under 10 minutes

This guide walks you through the essential setup steps to get your CR Bee account ready for bookings.

Step 1: Log In

Navigate to your admin dashboard:

https://your-slug.crbeeapp.com/admin/dashboard

Log in with the credentials provided during account setup.

Step 2: Configure Basic Settings

Go to Settings in the sidebar.

Pricing & Tax

  1. Set your currency (e.g., EUR, USD, GBP)
  2. Set your date format (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY)
  3. Configure tax rate if applicable

Booking Settings

  1. Choose your booking mode (Request, Pay at Pickup, Pay Now, or Deposit)
  2. Set any minimum booking duration requirements

Operating Hours

  1. Set your opening time (e.g., 08:00)
  2. Set your closing time (e.g., 20:00)

Step 3: Add a Location

Go to Locations in the sidebar and click Add Location.

  1. Enter a name (e.g., "Airport Office", "City Center")
  2. Add an address
  3. Optionally set location-specific operating hours
  4. Save

You need at least one location before customers can make bookings.

Step 4: Create a Category

Go to Categories and click Add Category.

  1. Enter a name (e.g., "Economy", "SUV", "Luxury")
  2. Add a description
  3. Save

Categories help customers filter and browse your fleet.

Step 5: Add Your First Vehicle

Go to Fleet and click Add Vehicle.

  1. Enter the vehicle name (e.g., "Toyota Yaris 2024")
  2. Select a category
  3. Add a slug (auto-generated from the name)
  4. Upload photos
  5. Fill in specs (seats, doors, transmission, fuel type, etc.)
  6. Save

Step 6: Set Up Pricing

Go to Pricing in the sidebar.

Create a Season

  1. Go to the Setup tab
  2. Create at least one season (e.g., "Default" covering the full year)
  3. Set the start and end dates

Create a Duration Tier

  1. Still in Setup, add duration tiers (e.g., "1-3 days", "4-7 days", "8-14 days")
  2. Each tier defines a range of rental days

Set Prices

  1. Go to the Prices tab
  2. You'll see a grid: vehicles × seasons × duration tiers
  3. Enter the daily rate for each combination

A vehicle without prices won't appear in search results. Make sure every vehicle has at least one price set.

Step 7: Test a Booking

Open a new browser tab and go to your booking flow:

https://your-slug.crbeeapp.com/book
  1. Select dates and a location
  2. Browse available vehicles
  3. Select a vehicle and proceed through the booking flow
  4. Complete a test booking

You should see the new booking appear in Bookings in the admin dashboard.
