Location Fees
Configure fees for different pickup and dropoff location combinations
Location fees let you charge extra when a customer picks up at one location and drops off at another. This is common for one-way rentals (e.g., airport pickup, city center dropoff).
Fee Matrix
Go to Locations and click Fees to see the NxN fee matrix.
The matrix shows all location combinations:
- Rows — Pickup locations
- Columns — Dropoff locations
- Cells — Fee amount for that combination
A fee of 0 means no additional charge for that combination.
Setting Fees
Click on any cell in the matrix and enter the fee amount. The fee is added to the rental total as a modifier during price calculation.
Location fees are applied in step 6 of the pricing priority chain — after the base price and any offers/coupons, but before taxes.
Common Patterns
- Same location pickup/dropoff — Set fee to 0 (no charge)
- Airport surcharge — Set a fee for any combination involving the airport
- One-way fee — Charge for dropping off at a different location than pickup
