Availability Blocks
Block dates for maintenance, seasonal closures, and reservations
Availability blocks let you mark specific vehicles as unavailable for selected date ranges. Use them for maintenance, seasonal closures, or to hold vehicles for VIP customers.
Creating a Block
Go to Availability in the sidebar and click Add Block.

| Vehicle | Select the vehicle to block |
| Start Date | When the block begins |
| End Date | When the block ends |
| Reason | Optional note (e.g., "Annual service", "Reserved for VIP") |
How Blocks Work
- Blocked vehicles do not appear in customer search results for the blocked dates
- The block reduces the vehicle's available quantity for overlap checks
- Blocks are shown on the Calendar view
- Existing bookings are not affected by new blocks — only future search results
Automatic Blocks
When a booking is confirmed, the system automatically creates an availability block for that vehicle and date range. If the booking is cancelled, the automatic block is removed.
When manually blocking a vehicle that has future bookings for the same dates, those bookings are not automatically cancelled. Review existing bookings before adding blocks.
